To run an OSP Centre, i.e., to provide IT services such as the following, one needs to register his business as an OSP.

Tele-Education
Tele-Banking
Network Operation Centres
Call Centres

Any registered OSP in India must conform to the DoT set compliance in order to retain the registration.Types of DoT Compliance
The OSP must file the DoT Compliance service and submit them to the DoT‘s Term cell. There are two types of DoT Compliance:
Change in OSP

If the OSP wants to change some details in his registration profile, like a change in director(s), connectivity, or infrastructure, then it must inform the DoT’s Term cell needs within 15 days of such reflections.
Annual Returns
The OSP must file the second DoT Compliance, i.e., the Annual Return, within six months of the end of the financial year. The annual returns submission must include the following:
Client Details
Annual Turnover
Net Profit or Loss of the Company
Employee Details
The applicant of the DoT Compliance should be an incorporated company registered under the Companies Act 1956.
