Actually, the urethane casting is a production quality manufacturing process for medium or small amounts of parts. It is as same as injection moulding, but the often used tooling is more flexible and soft rather than metal. Due to this, the urethane casting is very much cheaper than the injection moulding, particularly for low volume amounts.
