Qualify for the 3rd Grand Prix de France in the Grand Prix Series
South Korean women's figure skater Lee Hae-in (18-Sehwa Girls' High School) is aiming for her first International Ice Skating Union (ISU) Senior Grand Prix Series medal.
Lee will compete at the Grand Prix de France, the third stop of the 2023 ISU Grand Prix Series, in Angers, France, starting on Wednesday (Feb. 3). The women's single short program will take place at 9 p.m. on the 3rd and the free program at 9 p.m. on the 4th.
A medal at the event would be her first career podium finish. Previously, she won the women's single silver medal at the Figure World Championships and gold at the Four Continents Championships in the 2022-2023 season, but has yet to win a Grand Prix medal.
She finished seventh and 10th in Canada and France in 2021, and tied for fourth in the United States and France last year. He has yet to compete in the Grand Prix Final, where the top six athletes in the Grand Prix Series combined advance.
If he performs well in the Grand Prix Series, he could win his first senior stage Grand Prix medal and qualify for the Grand Prix Final.
