Qualify for the 3rd Grand Prix de France in the Grand Prix Series

South Korean women's figure skater Lee Hae-in (18-Sehwa Girls' High School) is aiming for her first International Ice Skating Union (ISU) Senior Grand Prix Series medal.

Lee will compete at the Grand Prix de France, the third stop of the 2023 ISU Grand Prix Series, in Angers, France, starting on Wednesday (Feb. 3). The women's single short program will take place at 9 p.m. on the 3rd and the free program at 9 p.m. on the 4th.

A medal at the event would be her first career podium finish. Previously, she won the women's single silver medal at the Figure World Championships and gold at the Four Continents Championships in the 2022-2023 season, but has yet to win a Grand Prix medal.

She finished seventh and 10th in Canada and France in 2021, and tied for fourth in the United States and France last year. He has yet to compete in the Grand Prix Final, where the top six athletes in the Grand Prix Series combined advance.

If he performs well in the Grand Prix Series, he could win his first senior stage Grand Prix medal and qualify for the Grand Prix Final.

Only two Korean women have ever reached the Senior Grand Prix Final, Kim Yeon-ah and Kim Yerim. Lee will become the third if she qualifies for the Final.

He is reportedly in good condition. After finishing second at the Nepella Memorial in September and the Shanghai Trophy last month, she was flown to France after being overhauled and refined domestically.

The background music for the short program is the contemporary “Siren” by American composer Christopher Tin. It was choreographed by Canadian choreographer Laurie Nicol and Sochi 2014 bronze medalist Carolina Costner (ITA).

The freeskating program will feature the musical Notre Dame de Paris. It was choreographed by Canadian choreographer Sheryn Vaughan.

In September, Lee said of her short program, “I like the underwater movement and the explosive step sequence in the second half of the program when the music changes in the climax.”

“I play Esmeralda, a gypsy woman who appears in the play. “I will try to express the dance and the freedom of the gypsies,” he explains, “with a slight twist on the original ending, so that Esmeralda wins by gaining true freedom. 카지노사이트존
