The water resistant silica gel takes the shape of white or grey polyporous particles and is heterogeneous forming silica gel further processed with basic silica gel as the raw material. The product not only has the pore structure and adsorption capacity like ordinary silica gel, but also has good water resistance, that is, it will not burst in the water, so as to expand the scope of application.
This product is mainly used in the drying and purification of compressed air and as carbon dioxide adsorbent in the air separation industry; and industrial catalyst carrier.

This product has the advantage of not cracking in case of water, and will not break the particles due to severe adsorption in the liquid. It is usually used in the adsorption field where the mechanical strength of particles is required to be high.
