Inkure Hotels and Resorts ltd
Inkure Hotels & Resorts was established in 2017 as a Hospitality Management Company, with foreign direct investment from shareholders in the Middle East. Inkure is the sister concern of Tri World Developers, a real estate development company that acquires land, gets permits and constructs holiday villas for individual owners in major tourist locations in Kerala.
Inkure leases these holiday villas and manages them together with other facilities as a holiday resort. Holiday villas and rooms in the resorts are let out to tourists and the income earned is shared with the owners of the villas.
The company currently manages Mirth Resorts in Kanthaloor and Poopara, located in Kerala’s sweetheart destination – Munnar. With the success of the first two projects, Inkure is currently developing a third property in Poopara – Mirth Foliage.
Inkure plans to expand the scope of their services to manage business hotels across all major Kerala cities. Its long-term goal is to promote resorts and hotels in other popular tourist destinations in India, along the same business model as the Mirth properties.
Business Potential of Tourism in Kerala
Called “One of the paradises on Earth” by National Geographic magazine, tourism has been a key sector in Kerala’s economy. The state has invested in promoting tourism extensively around the World as a result of which many tourists visit the state both from within India as well as from different countries. In 2019, an India Today study ranked Kerala as the top performing state in tourism in India. Tourism contributes 12% to Kerala’s economy and provides employment to 23.5% of its people.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has impacted tourism around the World. However, it is expected that Kerala will be one of the first destinations where tourism will bounce back. Part of this is due to the positive coverage that Kerala’s initial response to the pandemic got in International media. Coupled with that is the awareness about the strong health infrastructure in the state.

Mirth Foliage :
Mirth Foliage is Tri World Capita’s third project in the Munnar region. Operating as a resort & guest house, Foliage is perched at 5000 ft. above sea level and located very close to popular tourist spots such as Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Top Station, Echo Point, Anamudi and Meesapulimala. The property has a unique position that allows guests to witness the neighbouring village in its entirety.
