GE Vernova is seeking talented individuals to join us as Software Engineers. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with system engineers, frontend developers, and software developers to implement solutions aligned with shared platforms and solutions.
Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
Writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using selected technologies.
Building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
Understanding performance parameters and assessing application performance.
Working on core data structures and algorithms and implementing them using the language of choice.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you should have:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Experience with Angular and/or C# technologies.
Experience with web development using HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL).
Experience with modern tooling (VS Code, GitHub, etc.).
Awareness of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
Prior work experience in an agile environment or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice on the software development life cycle.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus.
