Onam means flowers and feast…It means togetherness also…This morning when I was makingthe pookalam (flower carpet), I had athought…I was mixing so many differentvarieties and colors of flowers to make a pattern which would fill my heartwith childlike delight… Isn’t this blaring difference yet the lovely way inwhich they blend as one entity the underlying charm of pookalam?
