Honda ADV 150 has made its official debut in the United States. On the other side of the Pacific Ocean, Indian fans are looking forward to its arrival.
The new Honda ADV 150 debut in the United States with a price tag of USD 4,299 (equivalent to Rs 3.28 lakh). This new model is gaining more popularity than other two-wheelers do. Why? Its sporty styling is one of the reasons. But the key reason why consumers vote for Honda ADV 150 is that it is an off-road scooter. The Honda ADV 150 comes to the United States with two variants. One is equipped with ABS while the other not. Only one color option is available for the US model-matte black. Indonesians are luckier as they are offered six color options.

As for features, Honda ADV 150 is loaded up to the brim. The scooter is equipped with a two-step adjustable windscreen along with a 2-liter storage compartment that is mounted on the apron. Two USB charging ports, keyless ignition, a full-LCD instrument cluster and a large 27-liter underseat compartment are on the list of updated gears. A full LED lighting is equipped, giving the rider better illumination in the dark. The new scooter gets a 14-inch front wheel and a 13-inch rear wheel. The Showa telescopic forks at the front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear make up the suspension system. A disc brake with ABS at the front and a rear drum brake take the responsibility of braking.

As for power, Honda ADV 150 is powered by a 149cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that can generate 14.3 hp of power and 13 .8 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a variomatic transmission.
The Japanese two-wheeler maker has delivered four unis of the Forza 300 maxi-scooter in India. Units in India are majorly CBU (Completely Built-Up). Honda has also made an official announcement that its assembly line in India will take the responsibility of manufacturing a majority of its products, in order to maintain the price advantage of its motorcycles.

In the last few years, sales volume of automatic scooter in india has witnessed a significant increase. Besides, Indian consumers’ appetites are changing as well. An increasing number of people, especially the youngsters, prefer sporty, higher displacement scooters. In such a case, Honda plans to add the ADV 150 to its upcoming premium CKD lineup.
