Honda CB500X Features
The Honda CB500X comes with cool LED lights that shine brightly on the road. The display on the bike shows important information about your ride, but it's not fancy with USB or Bluetooth connections. However, it does have a special feature called Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). This feature makes the hazard lights flash when you brake suddenly in an emergency.
Honda CB500X Engine Specifications
The Honda CB500X has a powerful engine that's also used in other Honda bikes like the CBR500R and CB500F. It's a 471cc engine that can make the bike go up to 47.5 horsepower at 8600 rotations per minute (rpm) and 43 Newton-meters of torque at 6500 rpm. The bike has a 6-speed transmission with a special clutch that makes shifting smoother.
You can go quite far on a tank of gas, with an average of about 28.6 kilometers per liter thanks to its 17.5-liter fuel tank.
It has a special type of suspension called a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the back, which you can adjust to make the ride more comfortable.
For stopping, it has good brakes: a 310mm disc in the front and a 240mm disc in the back, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for added safety.
One thing to note is that the seat is quite high at 830 millimeters, which might not be comfortable for shorter riders.
The bike also has large tires, with a 19-inch one in the front and a 17-inch one in the back, both designed for use on different types of roads.
Honda CB500X Design
This Honda CB500X bike looks a lot like the Africa Twin and has really bouncy suspension for rough roads. It's not exactly a hardcore adventure bike, more like a sporty bike that's lifted up high. The CB500X has a cool design with a sleek front and a pretty big windshield. In India, it will come in two colors: Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
