Honda Shine Engine Specifications

The Honda Shine has a 124cc engine that's single-cylinder, air-cooled, and fuel-injected with BS6.2 (OBD2) compliance. This engine is shared with the Honda SP 125, producing 10.7PS of power and 11Nm of torque. The bike also features Honda's ACG (alternator current generator) silent starter and a five-speed gearbox.

Honda Shine Features

The new Honda Shine looks just like the older model, the Honda CB Shine 125. However, it doesn't have some of the modern features like a fancy LED headlight or a fully digital display. The instrument panel is quite simple, with two round dials that only show basic information like speed, odometer reading, and fuel level. One improvement is the addition of an engine kill switch, which was missing in the previous Honda CB Shine.

Honda Shine Suspension and Brakes

The Honda Shine still has the same strong diamond frame as the older model. It also keeps the same front telescopic fork and twin rear shocks that you can adjust. For the front brakes, you can choose between a 240mm disc or a 130mm drum brake. The rear brake is a standard 130mm drum. Both versions come with CBS, which is a safety feature.

Honda Shine Variants

The Honda Shine has two versions: one with disc brakes and another with drum brakes. You can choose from five different colors when buying it. The main difference between the two versions is the braking system; everything else, including the mechanical components and features, is the same for both.
