How can massage help increase oxygen in your body?
Did you know that cells need oxygen to survive? On the other end of the spectrum, unhealthy cells are a bad omen for the human body and could even cause cancer.
Dr. Warbury did a study on cellular respiration and won a Nobel Prize in 1931 for it. He believed that the level of oxygen in a person\'s blood was directly related to that person\'s health. To test this, he put cells from a rat in a vial with normal oxygen and another with 60% oxygen below normal. The cells in the vial with the lower oxygen levels started to weaken or die. This experiment was taken a step further when Dr. Harry Gold Blatt of the Rockefeller Institute repeated the experiment. He then reinserted the cells into the rats. The rats that received the oxygenated cells survived. But those who received the poorly oxygenated cells developed cancer. Body Massage in Al Karama
So how can you make sure your cells are getting enough oxygen?
If you lead a fairly sedentary lifestyle, you will need to consider the possibility that your blood circulation is not as efficient as when you do regular physical activity. In this case, massage can help promote blood circulation throughout the body. When your muscles tighten and tighten, blood flow is not efficient. Massage helps them get back into shape and increases blood flow. This will help the lymphatic system to be more efficient and pump oxygen to areas that have been deprived of stress.

Is the pain after massage normal?
Many of our customers have asked this question and we think it would be interesting to share it with everyone. Is the pain after a massage session normal or does it mean that something is wrong? First of all, there must be a clarification. Pain is rarely considered a normal part of our life. Your body\'s technique of alerting you when something is wrong is pain.
Different people react to massage in different ways. What is painful for some people may not be “hard” enough for others. You need to contact your masseuse. This is one of the reasons why you should try to have a regular therapist instead of going from one to the other. When they become familiar, not only are they more relaxed, but the masseur can read their body better.
When you have pain after a massage, there are usually two causes:
- You have an injury or strain that went unnoticed and the massage session managed to get rid of the knots - you are not used to receiving a massage and your body adapts to the new sensations.
Pain is also related to the type of massage you receive. If you receive a deep tissue massage, you will usually experience some discomfort the next day. But the long-term benefits are looser, more relaxed muscles. Massage in Al Karama
It is important that when you experience pain or discomfort, you immediately notify your massage therapist. Analyze the sensation, whether it is a dull ache, a sharp pain, or a feeling of numbness. When you communicate, not only will you get a better massage, but your therapist will also be able to help you identify whether or not there is cause for concern. Most therapists will know when you need to be referred for further treatment.
In general, massage therapy should leave you relaxed, relieved, and refreshed.
