In all seriousness, our business is called Flourish for a reason. We don't like plants because we can't keep them alive. It's because of what the word means: to be successful, to do well; to be busy or making things; to reach a high level of growth or power; to make big, bold moves.
Do you not want YOUR tradies business coaching to be here? Well, here are some suggestions that might help you get there. And if you need help along the way, just let us know.
Make a sales route and keep in touch with your current and potential customers
How important number vs. quality of customer leads is to your business may depend on what you do. Having a steady stream of possible customers is the best way to build a business that will be successful in the long run. When you're just starting a business, this can be really hard because you're just trying to keep your head above water with the day-to-day tasks. However, you need to make time to make sure you're open to what could be your next client.
If you haven't already, you should think about getting a CRM.
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is used by many companies to handle "lists" of contacts. It can do things like schedule appointments, track online and offline activity, send emails automatically, keep track of notes and call logs, make reports, and much more. CRM software really helps to automate the way you manage your relationships with customers (how do you remember to follow up with 162 people on the same day? ), reduces the amount of data entry you have to do (some CRMs let you automate mundane tasks like tracking leads from an online sign up sheet or sending welcome emails), and lets you focus on the higher quality leads based on how often they interact with you instead of wasting time on those who don't show much interest.
Why is customer classification such a big deal? Because it lets you give your people the right information at the right time, which helps them make decisions. Not everyone responds to the same message, so why not use your CRM data to help you tailor how you talk to each person?
Also, if several people on your team handle your sales pipeline, a CRM is a great way for everyone to work together and share information in one place.

If you don't want to use CRM software but want to interact more with your long list of users that you keep in an Excel file, you could use an email automation tool. Standard HTML emails can be boring, and if you want to spice up your communication, plan your emails ahead of time, or add coupons or photos of your products, you need an automation tool. Plus, you can usually find one that is free.
Now, when we say "engaging with your customers and potential customers," we mean more than just saying "Hey!" Happy Thanksgiving!'
