How To Pray Tahajjud Prayer

How to perform Tahajjud prayers:

The method is similar to the general Nawafil. If he is reciting two rak'ats, he should make the intention of two rak'ats, and if he is reciting four rak'ats, he should make the intention of four rak'ats. After reciting a surah or a verse, he should bow down and prostrate, then he should recite the second rak'ah, but in the second rak'ah he should start with Bismillah, he should not recite Sana in it If he has made the intention of two rak'ahs and recites Durood-e-Sharif and some du'aa 'after the tashahhud, then he should get up after reciting the tashahhud and then perform two rak'ahs in the same manner. Turn around. This is the method of Tahajjud It is better not to recite Witr after Isha prayers, but to perform Tahajjud prayers at night and then recite Witr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say that he used to recite eight rak'ahs of Tahajjud and three rak'ahs. There are many virtues and etiquettes of Witr like this and there are very few lucky ones who get these virtues. If you do not have much then recite two rak'ats or four rak'ats every day. Because it is stated in the hadeeth that the most beloved of all deeds to Allaah is the deed which is permanent, even if it is a little, if it is recited to us two or four rak'ahs daily and we will always follow it. Almighty Allah will like this action of yours very much.You and I all pray that Allah Almighty will enable us all to do these small deeds (Amen). There are many virtues in the hadiths about the prayer of Tahajjud. For the person who performs the prayer of Tahajjud, many good deeds are written for him and his every supplication is accepted as if he is talking to Allah.Therefore, it is narrated in the hadith that Hazrat Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked Hazrat Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the night prayer of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to rest in the first part of the night after Isha prayer. He used to recite Tahajjud after that till the last night. Then he used to recite Witr. After that he would return to his bed. If he needed to, he would do ghusl, otherwise he would perform ablution and go to the mosque for prayers.
