Choose a safe and stable location to set up the drilling rig. Ensure that the ground is level and firm to prevent the rig from tipping over. Avoid areas with loose soil, steep slopes, or obstacles that could hinder the movement of the rig.

After choosing a suitable location, it is time to set up the drilling rig. Start by leveling the rig and stabilizing it with the outriggers. Connect the hydraulic hoses and power up the rig. Raise the mast and attach the rotary head to the top of the mast. Install the drill pipe and drill bit.

Monitor the drilling progress closely to ensure that the drilling process is proceeding as planned. Check for any signs of overloading or overheating, such as abnormal sounds, vibrations, or temperature increases. If any issues arise, stop the drilling immediately and address the problem.
