The International Organisation for Standardisation, or ISO, is a global organisation that creates and disseminates international standards for a variety of fields and businesses. Quality, safety, efficiency, and interoperability in goods, services, and systems are guaranteed globally through the implementation of ISO standards. By giving organisations and individuals a common vocabulary and set of principles, these standards enable them meet specific requirements and criteria, which in turn improves the quality and dependability of goods and services.
