As the unifying force for the millions of party cadre, he leaves behind a dilapidated party often fraught with internecine rivalries. Truly, a fighter who has called it a day after 94 years of continuous combat. The party leadership should unite in this time of transition to ensure cadre don’t vaporize into the myriad fissiparous pull factors visible in the state.
