Kalsubai Peak Trek with a height of 1646 meters or 5400 Feet is famous as the highest peaks in Maharashtra. Kalsubai Hill is based on the Sahyadri mountain range dropping under Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary. Kalsubai is the highest peak and it provides a beautiful view. Since Bhandardara Dam and Kalsubai Top is extremely famous, enough effort has been conducted to make this trek easy.

The total distance covered during the Kalsubai trek is 12 km both sides, with the terrain being a gradual incline throughout. This makes it a perfect trek for first-timers, as well as children. The scenery of the close by hills like Ratangad, Harihargard, Harishchandragad and Alang-Madan-Kulang forts are unmissable from the Kalsubai Shikhar. Kalsubai allows both day and night treks. If you wish to go for the day trek, then aim to reach the top of the peak right before the sun sets, to witness the most beautiful sight of sunset that hides behind the flourishing mountains, creating an enchantingly beautiful landscape.

Advisory

• Wear comfortable clothes for the adventure - preferably track pants and trekking shoes. 
• Keep your backpack light as you will be in charge of it throughout! 
• Do not wander off on your own at any point.
• Delays may be caused due to weather conditions.
• Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited during the trek!
• Carefully follow the instructor’s safety instructions.
• Carry enough cash and your ID proof at all times. 
• Be aware of the fact that there is no toilet facility available at the top. The last toilet is in the base village.
