Karnataka NEET UG Counselling Process:

The counselling for all the NEET examinations (NEET-UG, NEET-PG, NEET-MDS and NEET-SS) is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the respective state counselling committees/ regulatory authorities.

Karnataka NEET UG admission process is done for Medical/ Dental courses in government medical/ dental colleges, government quota seats in private-minority medical/ dental colleges, all seats in private medical/ dental colleges located in the state of Karnataka.

Steps to be Followed  for  NEET UG Counselling stages:

Step 1: NEET UG Examination:

Candidates must first appear for the NEET UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses.

Step 2: Registration Process:

After the NEET UG results are declared, candidates who wish to participate in the counselling process must register on the KEA's official website. They need to provide their personal details, NEET UG scores, and other required information.

Step 3: Documents Verification:

Once registered, candidates must visit the designated document verification centers as per the schedule provided by KEA. They need to carry their original documents, along with photocopies, for verification. Documents may include NEET UG scorecard, admit card, identity proof, educational certificates, etc.

Step 4: Option Entry:

After successful document verification, candidates can log in to the KEA website and exercise their choice filling. They need to select their preferred colleges and courses in the order of priority. It is important to carefully select options based on their NEET UG rank and eligibility criteria.

Step 5: Karnataka NEET UG Mock Allotment

Step 6: Seat Allotment:

KEA conducts multiple rounds of seat allotment based on the candidates' preferences and merit. The seat allotment results are published on the KEA website. Candidates can check their allotment status by logging in with their credentials.
