We're talking propane and heavy metal so can you kind of talk about some of the research you had done around the kind of testing and what was being seen in kind of end product and stories of why Buy Terpenes it may have appeared there sure oh and what you're seeing today well you know I uh look at a lot of certificates of analysis and it's not mandated in every state that these things are tested but I think it should be for the sake of the consumer whether it be in the recreational market or for medical usage the direct research I did was a few years ago with colleagues in Washington state and we used gut samples 26 samples of cannabis from the legal market because concentrates at that time were 60 percent of the market 24 to 26 were concentrates and a couple of flower samples um we went put them through forensic analysis and uh unfortunately 24 of the 26, uh were heavily laden with pesticides and not small amounts great amounts gross contamination with many different agents.

It was my hope after that that Washington state would mandate testing for pesticides but it's still only optional so it's an important thing because a lot of these are cumulative toxins meaning that uh you might not get that sick from it now but uh this potential carcinogenic effect of some of these uh they could have effects on DNA uh effects on hormonal systems you name it uh in large amounts, uh they can actually produce convulsions even in somebody who hasn't had a seizure disorder True Terpenes so certainly somebody who has a seizure disorder, to begin with, shouldn't be using uh that kind of material um secondly heavy metals, uh cannabis uh for better or worse is what's known as a bio-accumulator so if there are heavy metals in the soil lead cadmium arsenic those will be recruited into the plant not just into the fibers but into the flower itself.

And those are uh all dangerous um and again could be cumulative uh kinds of toxins that the body really can't rid itself of uh through any particular mechanism um right yeah no it's important on the inputs i you know when it comes to like arsenic because a lot of the chicken based products they use arsenic in the the feed and it has other they use it for other purposes within chicken but the fact is that it moves through the fecal matter then you put it into your compost but you don't break those heavy metals down so the arsenic remains sure and i think you saw a lot of people blowing hot using uh inferior products right and Terpenes for sale it's it's um you it's almost like you have to test your source material before you apply it because you're not getting that level of quantitative information to make your decisions and then once you have contaminated flour you're basically on the out yeah sure well kevin makes a good point and so it's not just a matter of doing soil tests before planting you have to be aware of the sourcing of all your materials and this is one reason that i'm so dedicated to organic and regenerative culture but it goes beyond that a problem in agricultural communities throughout the nation now is a drift of pesticides from somebody else's field and because the assays are working in parts per billion uh it doesn't take much for somebody to fail uh tests so.
