Creator & Creator
1. Best book read so far?
Heart Of Iron by Ashley Poston and Undead Girl Gang by Lilly Anderson
2. Best sequel read so far?
Leah On The Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
3. New releases you haven’t read yet, but want to.
I want to finish The Glittering Court trilogy. After reading the first I decided to wait for the trilogy to finish so I'll be rereading book one and reading books two and three because I have them on hold at the library.
4. Most anticipated releases for the second half of the year?
There's a Stephen King book coming but I'm hoping it doesn't spoil me like The Outsider did. Warning if you haven't read the Bill Hodges trilogy read that before you read The Outsider. I am curious about the book written by Adam SIlvera and Becky Albertalli. There's another one but I'm totally blanking on it.
5. Biggest disappointment?
The Wicked Deep was such a letdown. I was expecting witchy goodness a la Hocus Pocus and it was sadly lacking.
6. Biggest surprise?
After the disappointment of The Upside Of Unrequited I was pleasantly surprised by Leah On The Offbeat. Leah is awesome.
7. Favorite new author to you or debut?
I fell down the paranormal cozy mystery rabbit hole and discovered Angela Pepper so I ended up reading all of her books.
8. Newest fictional crush?
I don't have any.
9. Newest favorite character?
Leah
10. Book that made you cry?
Watching stuff has made me cry but I don't recall any times when reading has made me cry lately.
11. Book that made you happy?
Armed & Dangerous by Madison Johns which is like a cross between The Golden Girls and Veronica Mars. Such a fun book and start to a series that I am continuing.
12. Most beautiful book you’ve bought (or received) so far this year?
None so far but I am proud of myself for tracking down the Bachman books which includes Rage without spending an arm and a leg.
13. Books you need to read by the end of the year?
I don't need to read anything. I read what I want but I do want to read the Angela Pepper book that comes out next month.
