Hadiths have of special significance in the life of Islamic people, who have complete faith in Allah. Hadith is all about the narrative, actions, and habits of the Prophet Mohammed during His lifetime.

There are several Hadiths or words of action available for Muslims to follow in their everyday life. And there are several Hadiths that each Islamic individual should know without referring to the Holy text.

So, over here in this blog, we let you come across a few of the important and short Hadiths that you should be knowing. Apart from these, there are several others that can be easily accessed from the Muslim Pro App on smartphones.

We shall begin the list of must-to-know short Hadiths and their relative importance as well.

1. Hadith - Virtue of Making Tasbeeh

There are two words that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and loved by the Most Merciful: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdi, and SubhaAllahi al-Azeem (Glorified is Allah and praised is He, Glorified is Allah the Greatest).

Significance

The Almighty is powerful and has created the whole universe. So, all the glory goes to Him, and individuals must praise this by making a Tasbeeh. It is all about glorifying the deeds of Allah by saying Subhan Allah on all the beads of Tasbeeh.

2. Hadith - Good Treatments of Parents

A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said, “O Messenger of Allah! Who among the people has the most right to my good company?” He replied, “Your mother.” The man said, “Then who?” He replied, “Your mother.” The man said, “Then who?” He replied, “Your mother.” The man said, “Then who?” He replied, “Then your father.”

Significance

Allah has ordained ethical and respectful treatment for parents no matter how old they are. It is the rightful duty and obligation of children to take care of their parents with the utmost respect, which is like an act of praising Allah for His eternal blessings and virtues. So, according to this Hadith, which is also mentioned in the Muslim Pro App, there should not be any word of disrespect against the parents.

3. Hadith-Avoiding Suspicion

Beware of suspicion for it is the most untruthful type of speech.

Significance

As per this particular Hadith, it is an evil act of suspecting someone of doing something wrong or unlawful kind of thing. Doing suspicion on someone can be toxic when you do not have substantial evidence against the same. Similarly, asking wrong questions or even blackmailing a person in terms of suspicion is also considered a sin in Islam.

4. Hadith-Guarding the Tongue

A slave [of Allah] may utter a word without giving it much thought by which he slips into the fire a distance further than that between east and west.

Significance

This Hadith has of special significance during the Holy month of Ramadan. As per this, Muslim individuals are advised not to use a foul tongue or disrespectful words against anyone, even from near and dear ones. It is because what is there in your heart against someone, comes straight on the tongue. So, it is an indicator of hatred, anger, envy, or any other disrespectful behaviour. Follow this learning of not saying anything bad against anyone, especially during the Ramadan period.

5. Hadith-Avoiding the Forbidden

Allah becomes jealous [of His honor], and that is when the believer does something He has forbidden.

Significance

As the name itself implies, this Hadith is all about maintaining a safe distance from something which is forbidden. It might cause a bad effect on you, your family, or the people around you if you try to reach the forbidden or the prohibited thing.

6. Hadith- Virtue of Ramadan

Whoever stands [for night prayer] in Ramadan out of faith and hope for reward will be forgiven his past sins.

Significance

The virtue of Ramadan is self-explanatory in itself. It simplifies the importance of performing Ramadan. It helps following all the rules to say to true to Almighty. Whether be it like not saying anything bad against anyone, not committing any sinful act, reading Quran regularly, feeling your closeness to Allah, and more.

7. Hadith-Yawning

Yawning is from the devil so whenever one of you yawns, then let him try to suppress it as much as possible.

Significance

The meaning of yawning in Islam is like Satan or the devil entering your body whenever you open your mouth. Therefore, it is always recommended to restrain your yawning while covering the mouth and follow this sacred Hadith in full force.

8. Hadith- Taking Care of the Widow and Poor

The one who looks after a widow or poor person is like the one who strives in the cause of Allah – and I think he also said – he is like the one who continuously stands for prayer without slacking and fasts without breaking.

Significance

If you want to make a stronghold relationship with Allah, then it is obligatory for people for taking care of widows and the poor. You should help them follow the path of goodness towards others and perform such deeds to make your connection stronger with the Almighty.

Conclusion

Hadiths in Islam are sacred words of action from Prophet Mohammad’s side that showcase a religious act of leading a happy and prosperous life. Also, know more about Hadiths and other religious facts from the Muslim Pro App.
