Founded in 1983, Lexus is a global luxury car brand under Toyota Group. In just over a decade, the sales volume of this brand in North America surpassed that of Mercedes-benz and BMW. Since 1999, The Lexus brand has been the no.1 luxury car seller in the United States for 11 consecutive years.

In 2005, Lexus successfully entered the Domestic market in Japan, and thus became a luxury car brand sold around the world. At The beginning, Lexus took "The Passionate Pursuit of Perfection" as its propaganda slogan in The United States. Later, it took The Pursuit of Perfection as its marketing motto in countries and regions around The world. Until 2013, its propaganda slogan was changed to "Amazing in Motion".

Lexus Malaysia has just announced a new RX, an upgrade to its popular midsize luxury crossover.

The price of the new Lexus RX is as follows:

Rx300 Premium - RM399,888

Rx300 Deluxe - RM 424,888

Rx300 F Sport - RM 439,888

The new RX300 Premium is 5112 RM cheaper than its replacement model, but RX300 Luxury and RX300 F Sport are 888 RM more expensive than their replacement models.

Lexus Malaysia has also ditched the RX 350 and RX 450H variants of its crossover to streamline its product line.

Similar to the upgraded Lexus NX, the new RX features Lexus\' three-beam \'LED headlights and is slimmer than the forthcoming model. The front fog lights have also been repositioned to each corner of the front bumper.

As for the F movement variant, the larger vents located in front of the fog help distinguish themselves from the regular variant.

For the tail, the new taillights and reconfigured bumpers helped update the tail of the new RX, with the main difference being the repositioning of the reflector.

Internally, the biggest improvements are the addition of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, lexus\'s first. In addition, the new Lexus RX has a gear shifter, a phone seat on the center console, more USB charging ports and a Qi wireless charging pad.

In terms of safety, the new Lexus RX standard is equipped with Lexus Safety System and advanced driver assistance System suite, including Adaptive Highbeam System (AHS).

Compared with parallel imported models, lexus Malaysia officially sells cars with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, which is more reassuring.

Globally, the RX is somewhere between the Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLC classes, but because the RX is imported from Japan and the GLC is assembled locally, the gap between the two is close to 100,000 RM. In Malaysia, the Lexus RX is best compared to the seven-seat Volvo XC 90, although the RX has two fewer seats.
