Located just a few minute’s drive from the city centre, Ooty Lake is spread over 65 acres. Its foundation was laid down by John Sullivan the then-collector of Coimbatore in 1824.
This manmade lake was built originally for fishing purposes but now it is one of the most visited places in Ooty.
