Point Break Movie Synopsis

Extreme sports athlete Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), and his friend Jeff (Max Thieriot), are crossing a steep ridge on a motorcycle. The run ends with a jump into a single rock column, where Jeff overshoots the landing and falls to his death.

Seven years later, Utah became a candidate for FBI agent. He attended a briefing on skyscraper heists, where criminals stole diamonds, escaping by parachute, in Mumbai.

A similar robbery took place in Mexico where criminals took out millions of dollars, then disappeared into the Swallow Cave. The Utah research concluded that it was done by the same people, who were trying to complete the Ozaki 8, a list of eight extreme trials to honor the forces of nature.

They had completed three projects, and Utah predicted they would attempt a fourth on a rare ocean wave phenomenon in France. After presenting his analysis, Utah is sent undercover to France under a field agent named Pappas (Ray Winstone). They reach France and Utah gets help from others to surf the high tube waves.

As he enters, there are already other surfers riding the wave, destabilizing Utah. Utah was sucked into the wave and passed out, but the other surfers rescued and saved Utah. He wakes up on a yacht with the surfer, Bodhi (Édgar Ramírez), and his team Roach (Clemens Schick), Chowder (Tobias Santelmann), and Grommet (Matias Varela).

They leave him to enjoy the party and he makes the acquaintance of a girl, Samsara (Teresa Palmer). The next day, Utah finds the men in an abandoned Paris train station after he overhears them talking about the location. Bodhi gives him an initiation bout and soon he is accepted into the circle.

They traveled to the Alps for their next ordeal: a flying wing suit through the “Life of the Wind” cliffs. All four succeeded in their endeavor and spent time with Samsara. The next day, they climbed the snow peaks for the sixth ordeal, descending a steep snow mountain on snowboards. They reached their spot, but Utah decided to extend his line, so the others followed him. Chowder slipped and fell to his death, and Utah became depressed about it.
