ProGold PG2000 is the type of stuff that is normally reserved for heavy industry and automotive use. Now in bicycle flavor, this high-performance penetrating oil will free rusty, stuck, corroded, difficult, or just plain nasty components so that you may clean, repair or replace them. The mechanic's trusted friend and most secretive weapon. Now for the geeky stuff: PG2000 has a friction reducer that coats the metal it's applied to, allowing it to essentially bind to the piece. These molecules are small enough to work their way into oxidization, which allows PG2000 to "break" the piece apart. These same molecules (which are polarized) also act as a lubricant.
