The winners of the 2025 World Airline Awards were revealed at a gala event on June 17, 2025, at the Paris Air Show. The event took place in the Air and Space Museum at the beautiful Art Deco Hall of Eight Columns of Le Bourget airport. Approximately 500 people from airlines around the world attended, and many of the chairmen, CEOs, and presidents of those companies received their awards. It has become customary for airline employees in uniform to happily show off their company logos at the World Airline Awards. There were a lot of them on stage and around the event. 

The World Airline Awards have been going since 1999 and are often called "the Oscars of the aviation industry". They are completely independent and fair, as Skytrax hosts and pays for the awards event and all of the costs related to the customer surveys.

The World Airline Awards were established in 1999 to conduct a truly global study of customer satisfaction. They are entirely independent and fair.
