Never ever share eye products with others

Permanent makeup artists understand that it may be tempting if you forgot to apply your mascara that morning and a friend offers to lend you theirs, but refuse! You never know whether they have an eye infection, and they may not even be aware they do. Additionally, it is incredibly unsanitary and will simply transfer bacteria to your eyes.

Consider the Ingredients Cautiously

You want to use as many organic and natural ingredients as possible in any eye creams, serums, or other products. This is why we recommend coconut oil. If the products you use contain chemicals, they may induce a response or cause harm to your eyelashes. If you are using an eyelash adhesive / glue, you should always perform a patch test before switching brands. This is because some individuals are allergic to the latex found in a large number of eyelash glues. However, there are numerous latex-free lash glue alternatives available! A great tip we can give you is to never purchase lash adhesive from a company that is not well-established or that has not undergone certified testing. Avoid purchasing lash adhesive from online retailers.

Eyelash Extensions: Are They Safe?

Always verify that whoever performs your eyelash extensions is qualified and insured. We recommend that you avoid obtaining lash extensions from places that appear to be really cheap. They may not use the correct clue or appropriately apply the lashes, leaving you with stinging eyes and ingrown eyelashes! If you experience any burning in your eyes following the application of your lash extensions, you should have them removed immediately. Your eyes should never burn or itch, and this is your body communicating to you to remove them! If this occurs repeatedly, we recommend that you avoid lash extensions in the future and instead choose for strip lashes, which are just as excellent but are gentler on your eyes.

Lash Tinting and Lash Lifting

If the lash tint and lash lift technique are followed correctly, you should have no difficulties! However, you should always perform a patch test beforehand; any professional salon would request this. If they do not offer you this, or if they decline after you inquire, flee! You do not want to end up with burned and sore eyes. If you are using an at-home kit, you should always perform a patch test, as many of these products are not identical to those used in salons. Additionally, extreme caution should be exercised while applying any color to the eye area.

We at Ailis Beauty Lab provide a variety of different styles and materials to ensure that we can meet the lash demands of everyone!
