Raymond Mirra : A Philadelphia Baseball Fan

The Flyers are a bigfan of Ray Miro and he has the ability to bring fans back week in and week outto their baseball games. He is an All-Star and a very valuable player to anyteam he plays for. He is a two time All-Star Game Selection and has been namedto the All-Star team 5 times. I have always considered myself a fan of Ray Miro the player and the person.

The Flyers are owned by the Ray Mirra Philadelphia Flyers and theyare one of the most successful teams in the NHL. Many consider them the worstteam to own but I do not think that is the case. I have always felt that theywere a team that was just waiting for its time to come into the NHL. In recent yearsthey have been one of the better teams to watch, particularly when Ray Emery isin the lineup.

The Flyers are also part owner of the Phantoms ofParadise. The team plays in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and is part of theEastern Conference. The team is led by Flyers forward Wayne Gretzky and he has16 goals and 48 points this season. Ray Emery leads the team with ten assistsand this game is important to the Flyers as they try to make the playoffs. Itis important for the Flyers to win this match and get some momentum going intothe second part of the season. They face off against the rival Flyers on theroad next week.

Ray Mirra is a Philadelphia baseball fan that enjoyswatching the Flyers play all year long. He travels a lot form New Jersey to beable to see the Flyers play. Every visit is special to him and he really likesfacing the Flyers. "The Flyers are a team that is fun to be a part of, tobe around a few times a year," he said. "Ray's a Philadelphiabaseball fan and I think he does it for a good reason."

A fan really can't say enough about how caring Ray is andhow much he cares about his team and the city of Philadelphia. He is a verylucky man having been given this wonderful opportunity to be a Flyers fan."I'm just glad we're able to be in this city and share the Flyers,"he said. "Ray will tell you it feels like home on road and he'll be proudto be a Flyers fan and a city kid at the same time. He's a specialperson."

He enjoys watching the Flyers game from the luxury of hishome, but he is still able to go to many games. He said he loves being a fanand that his favorite player is Flyers forward Wayne Gretzky. He watches everyFlyers game with his whole family and loves being a big fan. His wife, Jackie,is also a big fan and she will often join him to watch the game. "We bothdo the same thing and she loves it as much as I do," he said.

Ray has been to so many games in his life and loves totalk about them and how he was there for the thrill of playing in the playoffsas a kid. He said he had a tough time growing up in New Jersey, but he knew hewanted a career that would last him many years and be around the sport for manymore of them. He is thrilled to be an Philadelphia Phillies fan now and knowsthat this team will go far in the playoffs. "This is a team that wears meout," he said. "They have a great young nucleus that is full ofenergy and they play all the time."

Philadelphia is a great city for a Philadelphia Philliesfan. There are many fun things for someone who is a fan to do. He enjoysspending time in the game and wants to be there when the team is playing theirheart out. He loves his team and wants to see them win. He is so happy he hasmade the change from a New Jersey Nets fan to a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Raysaid he is very excited to be a Philadelphia Phils fan.
