I really enjoyed this middle grade book. Morrigan is a cursed child which is as bad as it sounds. She dies at eleven and oh yeah she gets blamed for everything. Right before her birthday or I guess death day would be more accurate she is whisked away by Jupiter to a world called Nevermoor. There she moves into the coolest hotel ever where there's a talking cat. She is in the trails which is a competition between other children for a place in a super cool society that I want to join myself This is another middle grade book that I heard about from Richard at Richard Media Geek. I think that's what his channel is called now. This is a world with ghosts and oh yeah some people can see them. There's death and all sorts of hijinks in this super fun book. I will definitely be checking out other books by this author. I just finished this book this morning. This is the second book so read The Casquette Girls first. The ending left me with a big what the hell. There are only the two books but with the way this ended I'm thinking there has to be more. There are witches and I really mean it. There are vampires. They are in New Orleans. It is the aftermath of a hurricane. There's friendship and murders and magic and some romance. Original link
