With the arrival of evening, the ghat is flooded with pilgrims singing devotional songs and offering oil lamps and flowers to Goddess Ganga. The temple priest's Ganga Aarti is simply breathtaking.
There is no set time for visiting the ghat, and thousands of devotees from all over India visit the site all year round to wash away their sins. Many people enjoy cooling off in the summer and storing happy memories.
