The event promoter posted the message on the SiGMA World company website, citing a Paccor letter in support of this year\'s edition.
"We recognize the enormous potential of the gaming and financial technology sector in the Philippines," the regulator\'s statement said.
The letter added: "We believe the SiGMA Asia Summit will play a pivotal role in taking these industries to new heights."
Pagcor also said: "By bringing together key stakeholders, thought leaders, and innovators, this summit promises to promote cooperation, drive innovation, and explore opportunities for growth and development within these dynamic sectors."
SiGMA\'s update was also quoted by their team in an interview last month with Pagcor\'s chairman and chief executive, Alejandro Tengco.
"Investors can expect more structural changes towards a more comprehensive legal infrastructure, which will make the Philippines a more attractive gaming jurisdiction," Tengko noted
He was also quoted as saying, "We will also lower licensing fees and modernize our systems to enable us to realize our vision to make the Philippines the gold standard for Asia-Pacific games."
Mr. Tengco was a keynote speaker at last year\'s show, revealing detailed plans for the casinofilipino.com online gaming platform.
GGRAsia was named "Game Media of the Year" at the Asia Awards ceremony for the inaugural edition of SiGMA Asia.
