What is Social Learning:

Social learning involves learning through observation of other people’s attitudes, views, behaviours and outcomes of those behaviours. The learner then imitates those behaviours or attitudes and then models them. What your employees observe through social media or any interactive platform is then later used as a guide to building their ideas about how to acquire new behaviours.

Benefits of Social Learning:

Natural Way to Learn  Higher Learning Retention  Productivity and sustainability  Employee retention  Capture Organizational Knowledge  Problem Solving in Real Time  Shorter Onboarding Times  Better productivity and skills

How Paradiso LMS Provides Social Learning:

Our gamification feature involves a variety of actual games that create strong engagement among the learners.  Paradiso Leaderboard involves a scoring system where the learners engage in actual competitions and get awarded specific points for particular accomplishments to acknowledge the effort applied.  Badges, also awarded for particular achievements in the system, may be shared on other social media or on the system’s interactive portfolio.  On the other hand, collaboration has been provided by Paradiso LMS with various tools, including a social wall.  Web conference rooms and forums are also provided for online interaction and exchanging ideas among Paradiso learners.  Chat rooms integrated with the system for one-on-one interaction by the various learners, google hangouts, and comments on mixed media, including videos and audio similar to that of YouTube.
