When you are fireproofing your home, make sure to use fire retardant spray as it will slow down the flames and keep it from adding on.

Get Your Wiring Checked:  Call an electrician and get your wiring checked to ensure that you do not have any overloaded wiring. Check whether you are using the right wattage bulb that is designed for the lighting fixture. And if there is any electricity leakage, get it fixed as well, you do not want to take any chances. Clean Up flammable Junks:  If you have a lot of flammable junk laying around in your homes, such as clothes, cardboard boxes, and paper, you are making it easier for the house to catch fire.
