Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission said Southeast Edmonton could soon be home to casino properties to relocate from Camrose. 바카라사이트 However, some local residents are not very happy with the news. Some Edmontonians have already filed complaints with the city for fear of potential negatives.

The existing gaming property in Camrose will potentially be relocated to an empty location on Parsons Road in Edmonton, South East. The application for ALGC was submitted by Capital City Casino, which will offer 120-room hotels, 550-plus slot machines, 25 table games and more on more than 16,000 square feet of land.

One unfortunate local is Neil Richards, who said residents were concerned about the already severe traffic in the area. Mr Richards lives in Somerside, just two kilometres from the proposed site on Parsons Road, and believes nothing good can come of a casino that size.

Councillor Keren Tang, who is in charge of the area, said the location is close to the industrial and commercial areas, but also to the residents. She has entered phase two of the plan after receiving preliminary zoning and authorization approval, and is already receiving many complaints from residents and is advising residents to communicate their complaints to AGLC.

The Crown Agency also issued a statement on the possibility of relocation. The statement stated that it would determine whether the proposed project could be shifted to Phase 3. The AGLC board will then approve or reject the previous proposal, taking into account the opinions of the community and stakeholders, market demand, benefits to charities and their impact on other philanthropic gaming activities.

Locals should be aware that the deadline for public feedback is Wednesday, August 10, 2022, and AGLC is expected to make a final decision on the project later this year. Also, if the relocation is granted, the casino will continue to serve the same charities as the Camrose area it already supports, Crown explained.

People in Edmonton already have many options when it comes to land gambling entertainment. Last month, Gateway Casino & Entertainment reopened its Grand Villa Casino Edmonton on July 18, 2022. Accommodation is at Rogers Place, located at 10204 104 Ave NW, Edmonton, and currently operates seven days a week. Slots in the venue start at 2 p.m. every day, while table games are available from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m.

In addition to making direct bets, people in Alberta will soon be able to enjoy online gambling as AGLC in the state plans to launch a private gaming market this year. In December last year, Crown Corporation initiated a request for an offer from the gambling brand. However, unlike Ontario's model, Alberta's request for an offer will be limited to two operators.
