The one that you are probably the most familiar with is chlorine. Mineral spa care cartridges are usually placed inside filter cartridge and are contained in a floating dispenser that will slowly release into the hot tub water over time. Many people opt to use mineral spa care because it dramatically lowers the amount of sanitizers such as chlorine and bromine that you need to use to keep your hot tub water clean.
