Suppose if you are canceling your flights within 24 hours of flight booking then as per the 24 hours policy, you can claim the entire refund without having to pay any penny as cancellation charges. But for claiming the full refund, make sure you had booked flights at least before seven days of flight departure.
In case you missed your flight then the passenger won't be able to claim any refund on the flight. However, you can claim a refund if the passenger died before boarding the flight or missed the flight because of any extreme urgency.
The maximum time that is taken to process the refund is at least seven working days. You can call upon the helpline number of the airline and provide your flight details. And check up on the status of your flight refund.
Steps to cancel the flight before applying for a refund
To cancel the flight, open the website of the airline and click on manage booking services.
Once done, enter the reservation number of your ticket and find the other Spirit flight details. Now having done, try to find a flight cancellation link on the page and tap on it.
As you click on cancel reservation link, your flight booking will be canceled and confirmed.
You can even call upon the helpline number of the airline and request to cancel your flight bookings.
