Star Vegas Resorts and Club (pictured), a casino resort on Cambodia\'s border with Thailand, will reopen "limitedly" from Friday (Sept. 25), public relations firm Australia-listed Donaco International Inc said in a filing the same day. 릴게임사이트

The building will "operate on a limited scale for customers located in Cambodia," the company said, suggesting it does not expect cross-border trade from Thailand, where casinos are not currently allowed.

"We do not expect to incur material additional costs following the limited reopening of casinos," the company said, noting that the border with Thailand, where most of casino\'s customers traditionally occurred, remains closed.

Nonetheless, Donaco said the reopening of the property "will allow us to test our operating systems while ensuring the health and well-being of our employees and visitors."

In a July 29 filing with the Australian Stock Exchange, Donaco said it had been awaiting Cambodian government testing of Star Vegas as a key step towards reopening. The site has been temporarily closed since April 1 as part of Cambodia\'s COVID-19 response measures.

"The company will continue to maintain a strict cost-control strategy, while operations will retain limited operational capacity. Management will retain discretion to adjust or reduce the pace of operations to suit local conditions," Donaco said in a Friday filing

"The two casinos in Donaco are ready to resume full operations in relation to the flow of cross-border travel after COVID-19, along with the reopening of international borders once the situation improves," he added

On Sept. 1, Donaco said in a report that it had significantly reduced its loss for the June 30 base financial year to slightly above A$58.9 million ($41.6 million) from A$198 million a year earlier, even as the latter half of the reporting period was affected by COVID-19.

In early April, when Star Vegas and Donaco\'s other Asian casino hotel, Aristo International in Lao Cai, on the border with China, closed, Donaco said it expected a "cash consumption rate" of between $800,000 and $900,000 per month. Aristo International resumed casino operations in mid-May.
