QUESTIONS: 1. EPIC INTRO. The opening sequence of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed your attention from the first page.

Okay if you say so since the show didn't grab my attention. As for a book I picked up Going Bovine by Libba Bray and was hooked from the start. Just reading the book made me realize this is a new favorite author.

 2. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Name a fantasy world you would like to experience yourself.

Obviously Hogwarts would be pretty cool because magic but going to Xanth would be pretty cool too.

3. SQUAD GOALS. When Eleven met Mike, Dustin and Lucas it was a *mostly* perfect team.

Don't have any.

4. ABC’s & CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. Joyce Byers goes mad with grief after Will goes missing. Name your favourite mentally unhinged character.

Can't think of anything in book land so I'm going with TV land instead. I love Dru. She's totally insane and I love that about her. I really need to do a rewatch soon of Buffy.

5. THE UPSIDE DOWN. Name a book that was the opposite of what you expected.

I can't think of the name of the book but I thought it was going to be this cool Buffyesque thing involving some kind of Cinderalla retelling but it wasn't about that at all. I think dress was in the title. It was about a girl that lived in New York in the forties and  Cinderalla's dress was magical. It turned out to be a disappointment since I was expecting one thing and got another.

6. MAD SCIENTISTS. Dr. Brenner likes to get freaky with humanity. Name the freakiest dystopian government you can think of.

I haven't read it but the world in Unwind sounds pretty freaky. The parents can have their kid unwound at eighteen or something where the parts of the kids are taken to give to those in need. I have it on hold at the library. There's always a long list so I might see if I can get my hands on it for hella cheap since I really want to read this author this year.

7. DEMOGORGON. Name a scary bookish creature that you would not want to come through your walls.

A manticore

8. CLIFFHANGER ENDING. name a book that left you wanting more.

The Wayward Children books but I have to say that Seanan does an amazing job of packing quite a story in such a little book. Stillhouse Lake ended on such a major cliffhanger that I snapped up Killman Creek as soon as I was able to. I still think that would have made a great stand alone but those seem to be going extinct.
