For those of us who live in San Diego, we all know we are lucky. If you’re looking for a break from the winter months, you might want to consider a quick trip to San Diego.

77 degrees, shorts, upper, slippers, windows open. Yes, that’s the situation when I write this “fast” day in San Diego. Oh, I should probably mention that on November 19th. While it can be an expensive place to live, there is little doubt that San Diego’s climate makes it all worth it. Okay, maybe not when you think a house costs $ 700,000, but I want to rent.

Most people come to visit San Diego in the summer for obvious reasons. Summer on the beach is prototypical. The children are leaving school. You can head to the famous San Diego Zoo. You can play Padres in the sun. Again, you can just relax on the beach all day. All of these are good reasons, but a trip to San Diego also has many options.

If you’re traveling to San Diego in the winter, you’ll find plenty of great things to do. First, it is warm. Almost panic arises here when the temperature drops below 65 degrees each time. Rain? We don’t need stinking rain. Hell, wet winter is a huge 12-inch rain all year round! In short, you’ll find a fairly warm, dry climate that can be a great substitute for snow, cold, and rain elsewhere.

Another great reason to come to San Diego in the winter is the lack of other travelers. You can lie on the beaches in relative solitude. You can get to the local restaurant scene and see the many lines. You can actually visit the San Diego Zoo without carrying a crowbar to intervene among the people to see the exhibits. If you like professional football, you can always buy tickets to Chargers games. If you prefer college, the Holiday Bowl offers the best game each year, and the winner is usually determined by the last game.

If you’re tired of the cold, rain, and snow this winter, relief is a short flight. Try San Diego and you won’t regret it.
