Dejan (42, Montenegro), who holds the record for most goals scored by a foreign player in professional soccer's K League 1 with 198 career goals, 사설토토 has announced his retirement from active play.
“After 25 years of playing professionally, the time has come for me to say thank you to football, and now I'm going to enjoy myself off the field,” Dejan announced on Instagram on Saturday.
Dejan is one of the most prominent foreign players in the history of the K League. After joining Incheon in 2007, Dejan went on to play for Seoul, Suwon, and Daegu until 2020, scoring 198 goals and providing 48 assists in 380 K League matches. Both his goals and appearances are the most ever by a foreign player.
He became the first player in the K League to lead the league in goals in three consecutive seasons, scoring 24, 31, and 19 goals from 2011 to 2013 while playing for Seoul. In Asia, Dejan, who has also played in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and China, 스포츠토토맨 holds the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League record for most goals scored (42).
After leaving the K League at the end of the 2020 season, Dejan's contract with Daegu expired, and he spent three more years with Hong Kong Professional Football League team Kitchee until the 2022-2023 season. He scored 17 goals last season to lead Kitchi to the league title, but left the team after the season. He made his retirement official about three months later.

He also has special feelings for Korea. “I am grateful to all the clubs, coaches, players, and fans for their constant support, patience, and understanding. Thank you to Asia, especially Korea, 토토 for making everything possible and giving me unforgettable memories.”
