Clearly I'm not a YouTube channel so I'm just making a few adjustments so I can do it too.

Questions: 1. What do you study/what is your job?

Idiot Savant

2. What is your favourite social media channel?

I don't have one.

3. If you had another channel/website/blog what would it be about?

I have a ton of stuff going on with this website. I talk about books. I talk about TV shows. I write fan fiction and original stuff when I'm not suffering from writer's block. I've been peeking out from under that dark cloud but the writer's block still has a hold on me. I have poetry. It has been a while but I also post writing prompts.

4. Do you play any instruments?

I had a brief stint with a keyboard but I was never as cool as Ross or Jim Walsh. Bonus points if you recognize both of those names.

5. What hobbies do you have other than reading?

Does TV count? I watch quite a few shows on Investigation Discover and I watched Snapped in its various incarnations. I get the feeling that reading just might be the thing that saved me from becoming a serial killer. I write. I don't really write all that great but it gives me something to do and damn there's a lot of stuff on this website that I've added over the years.

6. Favourite TV shows?

Supernatural, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Xena

I also enjoy anime and I'm dipping my toe into Kdramas which reminds me I need to go back to that one I started I randomly found.

7. What got you into reading?

I really don't know. I've always been a reader. I was regularly taken to the library but I don't remember anyone actually reading to me. I think I just got myself into reading and I was allowed to read whatever I wanted.

8. What are your favourite and least favourite genres?

I love witchy books. I read a lot of fantasy. Honestly it wasn't until I discovered Net Galley and started doing reviews that I found out genres that I was totally clueless about. Yep I'm the girl that will pick up a book and read it and later find out what genre it is. I don't really get caught up in the whole genre thing since I'm more about hey that book sounds interesting so I'm going to read it. I will say that I was baffled when I walked into the library and found the fiction section was all of a sudden called speculative fiction. Personally I think things should be more simple since that's easier than trying to figure out what falls under what genre. There was a bookstore Trademart that was very confusing. There was actually a section called novels. Aren't most books novels? I've found favorite authors just by chance going down the aisle at the library. I'd be looking for another author and would be drawn to a book title like Dead Witch Walking. I couldn't not pick that up. I guess fantasy and urban fantasy would be topping the list. I'm not that crazy about dystopians unless it doesn't read as dsytopian if that makes any sense.

9. What books define your childhood?

Charlotte's Web, Flowers In The Attic, and weirdly enough Jackie Collins books that I read when I was much too young. I felt it was research since I thought that was how everyone was supposed to act.

10. Tell us an interesting fact about you!

I'm not really interesting. I'm left handed. I use a can opener upside down. I read while I walk. I have a strange memory where I remember very random crap.
