After years of development, the latest in computer technology is here. Get the scoop on some of the coolest devices that will be available to consumers in 2022, and how these advancements will improve all aspects of your life. Whether you’re looking to save time, improve your health, or just geek out with something new and interesting, this guide has all the answers you need to make sure you know what’s coming down the pike.

Retina Displays
These monitors with ultra-high resolution displays are not available yet, but the demand is huge. This will be a game changer and highly sought after in the next few years. The technology to manufacture these types of screens exists now and at least one company is actively working on such a device.
In terms of specs, the new generation of retina display models are still under development so we can't really speak about what will happen by 2022.

Laptops with OLED Screens
One of the most innovative features introduced by Lenovo is the laptop with an OLED screen. What this will mean is that laptops will be thinner and lighter than ever before, which can only mean one thing: more work and play without sacrificing anything. These new screens also require less power, meaning you won't have to worry about your battery running out during your commute. The display could even go around the entire body of the laptop, which may be desirable for some users.

All-in-One PCs
High-end laptop computers and all-in-one desktops are quickly becoming outdated, replaced by more lightweight, but fully featured tablet computers ข่าวIT. All-in-one PCs are turning up everywhere from the coffee house to your kitchen countertop, with the latest machines taking on a design and format that's similar to an iPad Pro or Microsoft Surface device. But if you want it all in one PC (tablet, monitor, computer) that can be portable too there are lots of options to choose from.
High Definition - By 2022 HDTVs are also very thin and light enough to put on a wall like a large tablet rather than placing them on top of a stand like older models. The first ever 8K resolution televisions will also be hitting stores this year.

High DPI on Tablets
It's hard to keep up with all the advances of computer technology; we've even seen the advent of 4K HDTVs in the last few years. In terms of our favorite machines, tablets have been around since 2010. That's not all that long ago, but what we'll see is an evolution in displays from 2020-2022. Specifically, this is going to come from High DPI (and HDR) screens that are coming out on tablets starting as early as 2019. In other words, these things will display graphics and text with greater clarity and rich colors. I don't know about you, but being able to read on my tablet screen without my glasses would be a pretty big deal!

Realistic Holograms
I predict that by 2022, cars will be available with the ability to place and receive phone calls while the vehicle is moving. Additionally, cars will also offer the option of sending or receiving text messages. Apple and Google have both expressed interest in this type of technology. Some car manufacturers are including it as an option now. The head of Audi, Audi's sister company Lamborghini, and Mercedes-Benz have all expressed interest too. While phone integration isn't new on some models already, it's expected to become standard on many by 2022-- at least as an option when a new car is purchased from a dealer.

VR Gets Real
This year, VR is making strides with new companies coming on the scene and major tech leaders investing billions of dollars into this tech to make virtual reality more than just a novelty. Here are a few trends to expect in 2020-2022:
-An increase in users due to smaller, less bulky headsets. For example, Magic Leap One offers high-resolution visuals without being tethered to a computer, meaning it's possible to roam freely around your environment while wearing the headset.
-More immersive media by introducing sights and sounds that make you feel like you're part of what's happening around you instead of watching from a window.

Phone Integration into Cars
Phones have already become an integral part of our lives, but even with the advent of smartwatches, they're still separate from our cars. However, new technology could be changing that by 2022. One way to integrate a phone into a car is to have the front windshield act as a smartphone display by using projectors that can be updated when the speedometer isn't being used. From there, the phone would stay visible and operational through voice commands or touch gestures on the glass.
