The World Travel Awards, a famous and well-known honours programme in international travel and tourism, recognise businesses for their dedication to excellence. Voting is done by both customers and travel and tourism industry experts.
A unique lounge concept, THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus focuses on comfort, technology, design, and a synthesis of "Belgitude" with Japanese hospitality.
"We are incredibly honoured to have won this distinguished award from experts in the travel industry and from our clients. It demonstrates that we actually put the needs of our customers first in everything we do and that it is not just a "buzz" phrase for us. According to Tanguy Cartuyvels, Head of Customer Experience & Marketing at Brussels Airlines, "The award motivates us to continue investing in our welcome service style that is mirrored throughout all customer touch points." "THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus is a wonderful illustration of how collaborating with partners like Lexus, who are driven by the highest quality services, helps us to give our guests an ideal atmosphere, tailored to their specific needs."
"We are pleased that the travel industry acknowledged the distinctive experience given to business travellers by Lexus and Brussels Airlines through our lounge relationship at Brussels Airport," stated Pascal Ruch, Head of Lexus Europe. For Lexus, this relationship represents an exciting chance to expand our core brand values of design and workmanship outside the automobile industry. This is a location where visitors may experience and learn more about the true essence of Omotenashi, the uniquely individualised and outstanding guest experience that Lexus offers to its guests.
On June 25, 2018, THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus officially opened its doors as a tranquil new destination for tourists inspired by Lexus luxury, design, and Omotenashi hospitality. More than 450,000 people have already visited the lounge since it opened.
It represents Lexus' continued transition into a luxury lifestyle brand that is recognised far beyond the world of high-end automobiles. Visitors to the lounge have access to a wide range of amenities to make their stay pleasant, enjoyable, and relaxing as well as possibilities to fully immerse themselves in the Lexus universe.
500 guests can be seated in THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus, which has a 2040m2 floor area. It is separated into spaces with various ambiances and amenities, such as a central bar, lounging places, and a break-out section that is perfect for people who need to work while they are on the go.
