It is quite clear that herbal henna hair color cannot provide such large spectrum colors, then how can these products claim so? The simple answer is that they have questionable ingredients mixed in them. There can be chemical additives, PPD, metallic salts, etc. added to the henna hair color products to bring out other colors. These ingredients can have a bad effect on one's hair and skin and do major damage to the hair in the long run.

The best thing that one should do before buying any such product, is to check the label and read all the ingredients. Make it a point to buy only the purest and most natural henna from the shops to get the best results.
