Through Twists and Turns #ThursdayTreeLove

I saw this tree on the way to the “natural arch” or “sila thoranam” in Tirupati. I found her–has to be a she, right?–intriguing. Apparently she has been around for longer than anyone can remember. I thought the tree was beautiful, strong and a survivor, just like a woman. No matter what life throws at her, no matter what weather conditions she faces, she stands strong. Here’s my haiku as a tribute to her. Through life’s twists and turns I will survive. Head held high I am a woman ♥ Do you like it?
