Tips to make the most of your spa experience

By investing in a day spa, you can get your money's worth without breaking the bank. Here are our top tips for getting the most out of your spa time.

Make sure you are in the right spa

Spa days require a little planning and thought; It's about balancing likes and dislikes with the right spa. Maybe you love the water and crave lots of baby pools, maybe you want more space for adventure, or maybe you prefer a spa with plenty of outdoor amenities. Ask yourself what you want to achieve. Is it relaxation, romance, or detoxing?

Some spas are better suited for groups of friends. Others are perfect for a relaxing spa vacation. Learn about the spa and its accessories, read the reviews and customize the spa to suit your needs, not the other way around. However, it is always a good idea to read up on spa etiquette before you arrive.

Relax outside the hotel spa.

Stop the clocks: time matters

If you are visiting a spa hotel, it is important to remember when you might use the spa facilities. Although the hotel has set check-in and check-out times, it is often possible to use the spa before or after your stay. Put your luggage in the car (or store it in the hotel) and finish your journey happily.

If you've booked your stay at the spa, be sure to keep punctuality and stay as long as possible. Treat yourself to a few extra minutes for a drink upon arrival, as this is included in many of the spa days. It helps you to relax and get directions after your flight. If you know you can't spend an entire day there, why not consider afternoon or evening spa packages? It's a great way to fit your spa sessions into your busy schedule, and some spas stay open until 9pm or 10pm.

Twilight Spa Pack Wisely

Bring a small bag to the spa, as some of the lockers have very little space. Bring a hairbrush and a bikini or bathing suit pants to avoid a wet lunch; The spa provides bathrobes and towels. You won't need anything else.

Please note that some spas charge extra for slippers; You can always call ahead and make sure it's available for free. Most spas offer shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and some offer cleansers and moisturizers. If not, you can try testers in the store.

If it's a spa treatment, try booking it for the afternoon. This way, you can dive into the water and discover warm experiences before giving up on yourself. If you book your spa treatment too early, the luxury essential oils for aromatherapy in your body and luxury facial products will disappear, what a waste. It is best to leave the products on as long as possible to reap the benefits.

If you are unable to receive treatment at the end of the day, please call us to see if there is any product in the changing room. This way, having a post-spa treatment lets you know how to heal your skin with other spa products before heading home.

Food, drink, and hidden extras?

Find a package that includes lunch (check the number of courses: Aqua Sana offers two courses plus a drink) and read our reviews of free tea, water, and snacks. Please note that if the spa server offers you something sparkling in the pool, they will ask you to sign or add it to your bill. Unfortunately, that's not all part of the deal.
