Dreaming about travelling the world in upcoming year. Wait! First, checkout the best travel itinerary templates and then discover the 7 best places to visit in 2018, according to the world's popular travel experts.

1. Port Salut, Haiti

Port-Salut is a popular destination for local Haitians as well as tourists to a certain degree seeking relaxation and tranquility due to the beautiful beaches that the town is surrounded by. The area has yet to be discovered on a mainstream tourist level.

2. Montreal, Canada

Montreal is a cosmopolitan, sophisticated city that takes its role as a tourist destination very seriously. Popular restaurants and shops usually offer service in English with a smile. Same with hotels. You can stroll down Rue St. Catherine and take in all the sights, stop for coffee, have some ice cream, browse to your heart's content.

3. Alentejo Coast, Portugal

The Alentejo coast stretches from the mouth of the River Sado to Zambujeira do Mar, and will surprise you for being such a well preserved coastal area, with small havens of sun and beach, hospitable people and good cuisine. Low-key resorts cluster round the various cove beaches that you can find right along the coast, including pretty Porto Côvo. Further south, Vila Nova de Milfontes is the main – and by far the nicest – Alentejan resort, while Almograve and Zambujeira do Mar, further south still, are both small seaside villages with stupendous beaches, a short drive from the northern Algarve.

4. Seville, Spain

Seville is a Andalucia's capital. With 700,000 inhabitants, and 1.6 million in the metropolitan area, it is Spain's fourth city, dominating southern Spain. With heritage both from the Arabs and the Age of Discovery, as well as the flamenco scene, Seville is a diverse destination.

5. Zanzibar, Tanzania

The islands of the Zanzibar archipelago have been a hub for spice merchants, intrepid explorers, and big game hunters. But a new wave of upscale luxury resorts has transformed Zanzibar into a destination for travelers seeking five-star comforts, as well. The country is a semi-autonomous part of Tanzania, comprised of numerous small islands and two large ones (Unguja, the main island, and Pemba) in the Indian Ocean, just off the east coast of Africa.

6. Gullfoss, Iceland

Gullfoss is in the river Hvítá (engl. white river), which has its origin in the glacier lake Hvítávatn (engl. white river lake) at Lángjökull glacier about 40km north of Gullfoss. To stand at Gullfoss and wallow in the beauty and the wonder of nature is an uplifting experience. One feels more energetic when leaving Gullfoss than when arriving. That's the impact these unique nature sites such as Gullfoss and Geysir have on us.

7. Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is just breathtakingly beautiful. When the sun is out you can have a coffee by the canals and just take in the beauty of the city. By night, the whole place is illuminated by lamps and the water gleams just like a Van Gogh painting!
