As a creative agency, it’s important to keep up with the dynamic landscape of marketing. Every day you will see something new or a new version of something that already exists. Keeping up with the latest trends is extremely important if you want to avoid being irrelevant.

So here are a few things you can look into to make sure you stay relevant in the creative agency realm in 2024:

  1. Use of AI: integrating AI in marketing campaigns is a rising trend. Using it for data analysis and automation helps running the campaign easily, and helps reduce human errors. However, many creative agencies are relying too much on it which can lead to errors as AI help human touch is absolutely needed especially for marketing as it could sometimes lead to lousy handling of campaigns even if the idea was good. you can use AI tools like Sora, Chatgpt, mid journey and Seona for your campaigns.
  2. AR & VR: augmented reality and virtual reality are still in the nascent stages, however few campaigns have integrated them in the most beautiful way possible by creative agencies. An example of this could be Lenskart where users can virtually try on glasses and sunglasses using their phone camera. IKEA too used AR and VR to market its products by making a virtual storeroom for their furniture to help them buy furniture.
  3. Influencer Marketing: it’s been a trend for a while and we think it’s here to stay. Just the other day I was having a conversation with a friend of mine about how influencers are called for every event and why? And she raised the incident of how a renowned influencer was invited from India by Benefit Cosmetics for their launch and how she muft have it must have been an all paid trip and as we were speaking we understood that if it wasn’t for the influencer we wouldn’t even know that they had launched. So yes, this is a tried and tested trend that has been a trend and will stay a trend for a while now.
  4. Hyper-Personalization: with the advent of AI we now have access to unlimited data, which helps us personalise our content according to our consumers which makes them more likely to engage with the products and services.
  5. Voice Search Optimisation: There is a growing number of people who use voice assistants so incorporating voice search optimization into your content helps make your content reach a larger audience.
  6. Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibilities Activities: Globally, consumers are now opting for businesses that ascribe to sustainable ways of operating and are dedicated to a cause. With the advent of conscious consumerism, brands that align themselves with a cause and sustainable practices are able to attract a larger customer base and loyalty.
  7. SEO Optimization: just like how we optimise website content and blogs, the growing trend is to optimise social media content. Recent numbers show that a growing number of people use social media to search content instead of google. Therefore, it\'s important to optimise content on social media to maximise discoverability.
  8. User-Generated Content: showing direct consumers of your product and services through various ways like challenges, interviews and contests makes the brand more relevant and increases brand loyalty as it helps build a community and makes the brand more relatable.  It’s actually one of the most effective ways to increase brand credibility.

Brands that keep up with these trends, will be able to survive and gain traction in the dynamic field of marketing.
