I created two small Christmas gift boxes that you may customize with vintage artwork on them. Assembling the Christmas Favor Boxes is a piece of cake. Ideal for hiding a small present inside for teachers, coaches, mail workers, or neighbors. The christmas favor boxes are the ideal size for a little gift, such as jewelry or magnets, or a gift card. Every box can fit on an 8.5" by 11" piece of paper. If you would prefer, you may also reduce the box's size when printing it to create a smaller box.Just print the free printable pattern from the following website, cut it out, and attach it together with double-sided tape. Detailed instructions are provided at the end of this page.

Assembly Instructions For The Gift Box

1) Simply print the PDF file onto the card stock or other comparable material that you want to use to make the christmas favor boxes (You may simply reduce the PDF size to get a smaller box.)2) The instructions for assembling the box are included in the printed 8.5" x 11" PDF download.3) Following the solid lines, cut out the box.4) Mark the fold lines with dots. To create the fold lines, I either use my Martha Stewart bone folder or the edge of my scissors.Score point advice: To create your straight fold lines, use the bone folder and a ruler or straight edge.Using the bone folder, trace all of the dotted lines, making sure to press firmly enough to leave an impression on the card material. This is a very useful step to help the curving lines fold more naturally. If you need more assistance with the curved fold line, trace the curve with the bone folder using a tiny bowl.

5) To Attach The Tab To The Long Side Of The Box,

run a strip of double-sided tape or a thick layer of craft glue along it.6) To ensure the tape is secure, press the box's two sides together. 7) On one of the christmas favor boxes ends, fold in the curled end flaps 8) Tuck the present inside. If you would like to assist give the box a pillow form, you can stuff it with tissue or confetti.9) Tuck in the final curving flap of the end.

10) Attach a sticker or little bit of tape to secure either end of the christmas favor boxes depending on how tightly you want it sealed. If desired, tie ribbon on top.
