Having a better and thicker substrate prolongs the life of your new Stone Benchtops while being able to do all of this in 1 day. The standard way to renovate your benchtops could take 6 – 8 weeks, leaving your kitchen out of action. With our company, we ensure your kitchen is ready to use the same day. We use QuartzStone12, a real 12mm engineered stone applied over your existing benchtop. It is known as the overlay process, done using a 6mm thick resin/fiberglass mix with a little bit of granite fleck to give it a granite look. We are the first in Australia to engineer and manufacture 12mm engineered Quartz Stone slabs.
Traditionally, 99% of the suppliers will still use a 3mm MDF template. Having a cabinet maker build you a new custom kitchen is excellent. Yet, the whole process changes if you are after a makeover for your existing kitchen.

In 2008, we decided that using MDF templates was no longer an option due to the swelling of the product. It’s fair to say that it’s okay for other companies to do so, as this is the only way they know how to template stone benchtops, but not for us.
